Most asked Questions.

  1. Which 6 glaciers are seen on the Fly Six Glaciers + Snow
Landing Tour? Wilkinson, Ramsay, Dainty, Launty, Leeb, County and Evans Glacier + sometimes even more.
  2. Do you fly to see Mt Cook? No, Mt cook is in a completely different region. We look at the beautiful landscape directly behind Hokitika.
  3. Do we see Fox and Franz Glacier? No, New Zealand has around 3000 Glacier's, Fox and Franz are very popular due to there closeness to the main road. The Glacier's we visit are just as beautiful but further off the beatten track with only a small amount of people ever viewing them. We are the only operators that do tours here and it peaceful without lots of helicopters and people around.
  4. The price of your tour is more expensive then Fox and Franz, why is it more expensive? Our tour is more expensive due to the Flight lengh, we fly for longer and further visiting multiple Glaciers, venturing all the way over the Southern Alps to the East Coast / head of the Rakaia. You are away almost a whole hour. Its a bucket list adventure worth every penny. We tend to have better weather in our location, more fly days and less weather cancellations.
  5. Who owns Precision Helicopters? Our family owns it, when you choose to fly with Precision Helicopters you choose to support our family and you will meet us in person when you arrive. Nobody puts on better service than an owner operator, we look forward to showing you all our magical backyard.
Our reviews speak for themselves, check them out, its a tour like no other.
